Large botanical star Christmas decoration
Hanging stars on a tree is important in various traditions. Stars symbolise guidance, hope, and a link to the divine. Decorating trees with stars honours celestial beings and fosters spiritual communication. In these practices, trees are seen as sacred, representing life and seasonal cycles. Adorning a tree with stars can invoke blessings and celebrate lunar phases, highlighting the connection between all living things and their unique energies.
During seasonal festivals like Yule, hanging stars marks the return of light and victory over darkness. Each star symbolises knowledge and wisdom. This ritual allows pagan and witchcraft practitioners to express their beliefs and hopes, enhancing their bond with nature and the universe.
